Hello, today I answer this month’s most asked questions about joining Startup Streams and launching a new business on Shopify...
Q: Can I add more products to my business?
A: Yes, you can add as many products as you want to the store: Digital, physical, subscription, drop shipping etc… Shopify doesn't limit the amount of products you can add to your store which is great news! Plus you won't be charged for adding more products. To add physical drop shipping products to any of our stores, I can recommend the Oberlo app.
Q: What is included with the 1-to-1 marketing consultation?
A: When you become a member, you have the option to have a 1-to-1 private marketing consultation. This includes a private 1 hour phone call at a time which suits you with our chief marketing advisor and you’ll receive a detailed action plan to market your new store based on the conclusions of the phone call. The results of the marketing consultation will be based on your budget, niche and experience. After the meeting; whether by Google Hangouts, Zoom, or WhatsApp, you will know where and how to get started with marketing your business. You can purchase this in the members area.
Q: How can I develop and improve a new Startup Streams store?
A: We encourage you to treat all businesses as a template to expand and improve upon. You can do this by adding more products, utilising the store’s built in blog or by adding any of the 1700+ available Shopify apps to aid conversions. You can create social media accounts, add a business email account provider and even setup an affiliate program and get others to do the marketing for you!
Q: What payment methods can I accept on my store to make sales?
A: This depends on your country. Typically, Shopify Payments is the most popular option as it is reliable and accepts most major credit and debit cards (it is facilitated by Stripe). You can check which payment providers are available in your country here.
